What is alico?

Alico monitors the condition of patients based on the information extracted from different sensors deployed in the patient’s home; a smart anklet and a watch tracker.
The platform informs about the location and current condition of the patient, using OpenData and using FIWARE GEs, and customizes an emergency protocol to minimize the damage.
Our platform will offer flexible solutions that connects regular caregivers with their love ones, and also with professional caregivers, and occasional caregivers such as relatives and neighbors. Alico will also provide access to critical patient data, enabling doctors a customized care in an easy and affordable way.
Furthermore our platform will offer a social network to help patients, families, and health professionals by exchanging their experiences and sharing advices.

ALICO, IS A SERVICE PLATFORM CONSISTING OF:
-Hardware add-ons like:
· Zell our patented gateway connecting hardware and software elements.
· Home sensors, like motion detection, door, flood, smoke detectors, etc.
· Smartphone’s, smartbands’ and/or smartwatches’ sensors and an app.
· Health sensors, like blood pressure, blood sugar, scale, etc.
- Software modules to harmonize hardware add-ons that employ FIWARE ecosystem technologies.
- OpenData databases to offer our users relevant data (closest Hospitals, Police Stations, Day Centers, etc.) OpenData allow us to offer an improved service by using a huge amount of transparent data from public institutions and organizations.
